Your relocation worksheet is on the way.
Check your inbox for an email from me with a link to the College Coaches Relocation Worksheet. It should arrive within the next few minutes.
Don't see the email?
Check your spam or promotions folder first. Email providers occasionally decide that a worksheet you specifically requested must be part of an elaborate criminal enterprise.
If it still hasn't arrived after about 10 minutes, email me at jacob.portock@rockbridgefa.com and I'll help you track it down.
What the worksheet should help you do
A coaching opportunity can move quickly. The worksheet is designed to help you slow the decision down just enough to look beyond the title, salary, or initial excitement.
Compare the whole opportunity
Look beyond one number and consider how the move could affect your career, finances, family, lifestyle, and longer-term goals.
Identify the tradeoffs
Get clearer about what matters most to you, what concerns you, and which compromises you may or may not be willing to make.
One quick note: Don't try to complete the entire worksheet in one sitting. Use the sections that are helpful now, then come back as you learn more about the opportunity.
While you're here
The worksheet is yours whether you do anything else or not. But if you'd like to learn more about how I think, write, or work with college coaches, these are decent places to start.
